ABOUT ME

I am a recent graduate of Auburn University, receiving my master's degree in Industrial Design. My thesis research focused on the critical relationship between marketing and design of electronic audio devices. While at Auburn, I received the outstanding graduate student award and my work was published in the Auburn Circle magazine. Additionally, my thesis research won 3rd place in a student wide research symposium competition (non-stem).

In my free time, I draw portraits of people's pets and sell prints of my work. Message me if you're interested!

Design has always been a part of my life, but the underlying creative intention behind everyday objects has gone from a day-to-day reality to the centerpiece of my professional aspirations. I have enjoyed developing ideas and bringing them to life, whether in the form of product development or individual art piece.
Design requires the collaboration of form and function. There is a constant struggle between utility and aesthetics, and good design hangs somewhere in the balance. I came to know this balance early in life. My mother is a psychotherapist. she is humanistic and open-minded. In contrast, my father served in the military for 25 years and is an engineer. He views the world from a more methodical, orderly perspective. Throughout my life, I have experienced both sides, and I am able to create harmony through my work.
